Jess and Friends offers individualized private music lessons for children and adults in students' homes in NYC, Boston, and now remotely across the globe, including Chile and Canada.  The dynamic team teaches students of all ages, all levels, and all levels of interest, ranging from young beginners to award-winning industry professionals.

Lessons are usually once a week (although some students love it so much they have lessons twice a week).  Throughout the school year, there are group recitals in a supportive environment where students have the opportunity to share their music, work toward a goal, get inspired by their peers, and have fun.  Lessons are offered in piano, guitar, ukulele, bass, voice, and more.

It is the goal to cater teaching to each student's individual needs and learning styles, and to guide them throughout their musical journey.  As role models, the teachers help their students grow as musicians and also as people.  Along with imparting a musical education that includes instrumental instruction, music theory, history, and appreciation, it is the fondest ambition to foster a love of music in all students.  Teachers seek to help them discover how to fit music into their lives now, as they grow, and especially for the long term.
